Working with Oxford University’s Assisted Vision, RTC Innovation found a private investor for the spin-out which works with the RNIB to develop products that improve quality of life for the blind and partially-sighted.

An initial investment of £500,000 was made, with a further £1m+ agreed from the same investor in late 2015/early 2016. In 2014, the project, which enables the blind and partially sighted to see again, won the Google Challenge Award.
